For Udacity’s Digital Marketing Nanodegree program, I was tasked to create a lead generation ad campaign on Facebook. The ads led to a landing page offering a free e-book that people could access in exchange for their email.
After doing a thorough analysis of the target audience, I created three ads that addressed a pain point and offered a potential solution aligned with their goals. The ads utilized the current social climate with the ongoing pandemic by appealing to emotion and imagination. The result are visuals and copy meant to be aspirational, hopeful and motivating.
The campaign generated 598 link clicks and 246 new leads within its 4-day time frame. The 41% conversion rate helped maximize Udacity’s $100 by costing only $0.41 per new lead.
